Shelley aka Shell Belle!

 

I am a certified Aesthetic RN and business owner! I would like to share with you a little bit about myself and my background working as an aesthetic Registered Nurse. I have been working in the field of aesthetics since 1999. I am passionate about using my knowledge and expertise in aesthetics in order to help others look and feel better about themselves. 

 

I earned two bachelors degrees in Nursing & Public Health from UNR. My work history includes model, licensed aesthetician, celebrity makeup artist, business manager, educator, med/tele/ER surgical nurse and aesthetic RN. 
 

As an artist and an aesthetic nurse, I utilize the nursing process, in order to provide individualized and focused patient centered care. I also have a deep appreciation and insight for this field due to the knowledge I have gained from surviving a head on collision from a motor vehicle accident 13 years ago. This accident caused trauma to my body and spirit, but through the encouragement of the medical staff, physical therapy, cosmetic reconstruction and my faith, I was able to gain the confidence I lost and pursue my dreams and career goals.

 

 I have lived in Reno, Nevada for over 15 years and I enjoy giving back through local charity events and organizations because I love our city and want to make a positive impact within my sphere of influence. During my self care time I enjoy painting, singing, staying active, traveling and of course loving and nurturing my 4 wonderful children. Currently, I am furthering my career as a nurse practitioner MSN/DNP.
